hi all, after some help advice?have a snipe dinghy (wood) after being vandalized, dragged down concrete slipway and part sunk! i’ve repaired hull and now painting/ varnishing decks and inside while have use of garage.
Q; was thinking about fitting self drain tube through hull to above waterline as floor is double layered and quite high
A; good idea/ bad idea?

yeah this is a good idea, i have a similar system on my boat. i would advise that it doesn’t go too near the waterline, because otherwise water may easily come in, in choppy weather.
